Attunement III - Field 2026
Attunement III: Field is the latest iteration of an ongoing audiovisual performance series exploring the relationship between water, visual sensing and sound.
A camera observes movement, light and surface activity inside a transparent water tank. The visual data is analysed in real time through Max/MSP and mapped to sonic processes, creating a continuously changing relationship between the physical behaviour of the water and the resulting sound.
In Field, the project expands into spatial sound. Sonic material can move through the surrounding loudspeaker field, allowing the acoustic space itself to become part of the work. The performance develops through the interaction between water, image, sound, spatial movement and live control rather than following a completely fixed composition.
