Mist
2025Mist is an interactive sound installation that turns light into an instrument.
Five angled laser beams form an invisible interface in space. When the audience moves through them, their body interrupts the beams, triggering shifts in sound. Simple gestures become layered, evolving sonic textures.
Each beam controls a different sound layer, affecting pitch, rhythm, and timbre, allowing participants to shape the composition in real time. The result is never fixed: every interaction produces a unique soundscape.
Mist works as a generative system rather than a fixed composition, blurring the line between audience and performer. The space becomes a playable environment, where sound, movement, and perception are directly connected.
